Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi and Kathmandu

Destination: Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Varanasi - Kathmandu.
DAY 01: Arrive Delhi
Arriving Delhi - The capital of India. Meet and Greet at the Airport. Transfer
to Hotel for check in. Over night at Hotel.
DAY 02: Delhi
After Break fast, proceed for full day combined city tour of New Delhi
& Old Delhi visiting Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Parliament
House, President House, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat. Evening witness
"Sound & Light" show at Red Fort to get a glimpse of the
History of the Fort. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03: Delhi / Agra
After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and drive down to Agra. On arrival,
check in into the Hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Agra
city visiting the famous Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.
The Taj Mahal was built

in
memory of Shah Jehan's wife Mumtaz Mahal who died after 17 years of marriage.
It is a monument, which has drawn upon the creativity and skills of engineers
and craftsmen from many parts of the world. Then we will visit to Agra Fort,
which was started by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and completed by his grandson,
Shah Jehan. The fort walls, stretching over 2.5 km are surrounded by a 10-meter
wide moat. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04: Agra / Jaipur
After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel and proceed for Jaipur the capital
of Rajasthan is also known as The "Pink City" because of the
predominance of buildings in pink.en route you will visit the abandoned
city, Fatehpur Sikri was one of the capital cities of Emperor Akbar. It
is a town complete with caravan serais, gardens, country yards and bathhouses,
besides the hall of public audience and hall of special audience. On arrival,
check in into the Hotel. After noon you will proceed on a Jaipur city
tour visiting the Sawai Jai Singh Observatory and City Palace - known
for stunning architecture, was the principal residence of the former ruling
family. Next to Hawa Mahal, which means the "Palace of the Winds",
is a multi-layered palace with a profusion of windows and stone screens,
built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05: Jaipur
After Break fast, proceed for visiting Amber Fort, the ancient capital
of Rajasthan and the majestic palace complex to witness a unique system
of air-conditioning of 17th century. The most enthralling experience of
Amber Fort is an elephant-ride and the gaily-decorated ride. After lunch,
free for shopping. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06: Jaipur / Delhi
Breakfast at Hotel, and day free to stroll the colorful Market for shopping
till departure, check out from the Hotel and drive down for Delhi. On arrival
at Delhi.

07: delhi / Varanasi
Fly to the holy city of Varanasi, the capital of the Hindu faith since
the dawn of history. In the afternoon drive to Sarnath, centre of the
Buddhist world, where Budha preached his first sermon some 2500 years
ago.
DAY 08: Varanasi
Early morning visit the "ghats" at sunrise for a boat ride that
takes you past incredible scene of multitudes coming to pay homage. Thereafter
walk through an inextricable maze of narrow streets and alleys visiting
mumerous temples dedicated to various deities.
DAY 09: Varanasi / Kathmandu
Fly to Kathmandu, capital of the kingdom of Nepal - an isolated world
where people live much as they have for 1200 years. As you approach, see
a breath taking view of terraced hilltops set against the back drop of
the Himalayas. After immigration and custom formalities, an ATI representative
will greet you and assist you to your hotel.
In the evening enjoy authentic Newari dinner followed by a pleasant rickshaw
ride (Tricycle ride) through the "Freak street" of the older
part of the city.
DAY 10: Kathmandu
Kathmandu is a rare combination of the old and new in art, culture and civilization.
The pagoda- style architecture scattered throughout the city, the amazing
temples dedicated to various deities, the breathtaking sculptures and carvings,
the ageless monuments
all combine to make

Kathmandu
a priceless museum beneath the blue dome of the sky. Besides Kathmandu,
the only large cities of Nepal are its suburbs, Patan and Bhadgaon. Patan
is the circular "city of beauty", with its many palaces and temples
embellished with intricately carved gods and goddesses in erotic poses.
The art and architecture show an interesting mixture of Hindu and Buddhist
influence. Visit the Royal Residential Palace and the Durbar Square. You
will find more examples of Nepalese architecture in Bhadgaon. See Bodhnath,
the largest Buddhist stupa in the world; Pashupatinath, a sacred temple
near the holy River Bagmati; and, Swayambhunath, with its all-seeing eyes
of Lord Buddha painted on the four-sided base of the spire.
DAY 11: Depart Kathmandu
Catch up with the remaining part of sight seeing in the morning. It is
now time to bid farewell to this Himalayan Kingdom as you are assisted
to the airport for your onward flight.
